Who we are
The FM Experts (“we”, “us”) is a trading name operated by Benjamin Fielding in the United Kingdom. For privacy enquiries, contact hello@thefmexperts.com. We are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website.
What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, company, role, sector, and the text you write in the “known for” and “challenge” fields. We also log a hashed IP address and your browser user-agent for security and abuse prevention. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels.
Why we collect it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, to provide the services you have asked us about. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (replying to an enquiry you initiated) and, where you become a client, the performance of a contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted within 12 months. Client records are retained for 7 years after the end of the engagement to meet UK tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your data. We use Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase, hosted in the EU) to store enquiries and a UK-based email provider to reply to you. No data is shared with advertisers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing. Email hello@thefmexperts.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
